Special Session on Social HRI of Human-care Service Robots @RO-MAN2026

We have submitted a proposal for a Special Session on Social Human-Robot Interaction of Human-care Service Robots at IEEE RO-MAN 2026 and are awaiting the acceptance notice.

The conference will be held in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan from August 24-28, 2026.

This special session focuses on exploring how social robots can interact with humans socially and facilitate the integration of service robots into everyday life. We welcome papers on topics including social perception, behavior recognition, emotion recognition, dialogue-based interaction, and applications in healthcare, education, and more.

This special session is supported by the Korea Robotics Society (KROS).
